Dr. Kijana Nix is a General Pediatrician and Hospitalist who is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She completed her pediatric residency training at Howard University Hospital and Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Howard University College of Medicine and is a Pediatric Attending at Howard University Hospital . She is also a covering physician at the Howard University Student Health Center. She is a member of the Reliable Online Wellness Experience, ROWE, a network of healthcare professionals. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, American Telemedicine Association and the Medical Association of Jamaica. Dr. Nix is a strong believer in giving back to the community, she is heavily invested in international missionary work and has been a part of various health related projects in the USA, Antigua, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
