JHUAN IMPACT AWARD
JHUAN’s mission is to serve the Jamaican student community at Howard University through scholarships, mentoring and career development. The JHUAN Impact award is presented to an individual or organization whose work embodies excellence in truth and service and has positively impacted the broader community. Impact nominees demonstrates an impeccable character/brand/reputation, distinguished professional achievements in their field or industry, and have exhibited pioneering and unparalleled leadership and exceptional service to their community. Recipients of the IMPACT award are either Jamaican heritage, or have an affiliation with Howard University, are civic minded, philanthropic and display values that are aligned with the spirit of the JHUAN mission.
